Overview
An iconic, vintage and sporty Rolex Yacht-Master 40 reference 16628 in 18k yellow gold. This model sports a solid gold bidirectional timing bezel with white dial with luminous hour markers and Mercedes-style hands, complemented by red "YACHT-MASTER" text. This watch is all original by Rolex. This watch has a warm patina and has never been polished.
Case
The 40mm 18k yellow gold case is fitted with a bidirectional rotating bezel featuring raised numerals and polished details. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, and a screw-down Triplock crown ensures water resistance up to 10 ATM. The white dial is fitted with luminous black hour plots outlined in yellow gold. The date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock and magnified by the cyclops lens.
Bracelet
Fitted with an Oyster bracelet in 18k yellow gold, the band shows no sag and fits up to a 7.5 inch wrist. The bracelet is secured by a solid Rolex fold-over clasp. 11 links plus 2 end links.
Condition
The watch is in good condition with minor signs of wear including light, hairline scratches on the bezel, case and case back consistent with gentle use. The bracelet has minor light scratches. The watch has no deep scratches. The crystal and dial are clean and free from any scratches or damage.
