Dial
The watch features a rare and one of a kind original tropical orange dial with factory set diamond hour markers, surrounded by a numeral minute markers on the outer track. The iconic Rolex crown sits at 12 o’clock above the day window, while the date window at 3 o’clock is magnified by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens. The hands are matching gold-tone.
Case
The 18K white gold case measures 36mm wide, without the crown, and is fitted with an 18K white gold fluted bezel and sapphire crystal. The crown screws down securely, and the watch is rated water resistant to 10 ATM.
Bracelet
The watch is fitted with the original solid 18K white gold Oysterquartz style bracelet. The bracelet has a polished and brushed finish and is secured by a hidden fold-over clasp. It fits wrists up to approximately 7.25 inch.
Condition
This Rolex Oysterquartz Day-Date is in very good vintage condition, showing only minor surface scratches on the bracelet, case back and case. The movement has been machine-tested for accuracy and water resistance, and performs within Rolex standards.
