Overview
An iconic, vintage and sporty two-one Rolex Yacht-Master 40 reference 16623 in 18k yellow gold and steel. This model sports a solid gold bidirectional timing bezel with a champagne dial with luminous hour markers and Mercedes-style hands, complemented by the red "YACHT-MASTER" text. This watch is all original by Rolex and comes full set with outer box, box, booklets, Rolex cleaning cloth and warranty papers. The watch was produced in 2006. Watch was serviced in 2026.
Case
The case measures 40mm wide, without the crown, and is fitted with a bidirectional rotating gold bezel. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, and a screw-down Triplock crown ensures water resistance up to 10 ATM. The champagne dial is fitted with luminous white hour plots outlined in yellow gold, paired with broad Mercedes hands and a seconds hand. The date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock and magnified by the cyclops lens.
Bracelet
Fitted with an Oyster bracelet in 18k yellow gold and steel, the band shows almost no sag and fits up to a 8.2 inch wrist. The bracelet is secured by a gold and steel Rolex fold-over clasp. 12.5 links plus 2 end links, fully linked.
Condition
The watch is in very good condition with minor signs of wear including light, hairline scratches on the bracelet and case back consistent with gentle use. The bracelet has barely visible hairline marks. The crystal and dial are clean and free from any scratches or damage. The gold bezel and case has barely visible hairline scratches. The watch was tested by machine for accuracy and water resistance, performing to Rolex standards. The watch was serviced in summer of 2026.
