Overview
A vintage, timeless, and iconic Rolex GMT-Master II, reference 16710, in stainless steel featuring a black dial and a red and black “Coke” 24-hour bezel. This watch is powered by the Rolex caliber 3185 automatic movement with independent GMT functionality. The watch allows the wearer to track multiple time zones and remains one of the most versatile sport models produced by Rolex. This watch is on a jubilee bracelet. The watch was produced in 1991, this watch is all original.
Case
The stainless steel Oyster case measures 40 mm in diameter and is fitted with a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnifier over the date at 3'oclock. The watch features a bidirectional rotating 24-hour "Coke" bezel with red and black aluminum insert, this is the original insert with the iconic fat font used for that time period. Water resistance is rated to 10 ATM.
Bracelet
The watch is fitted with its original stainless steel Jubilee bracelet secured by a fold-over clasp. The bracelet remains structurally tight and shows almost no signs of stretch or sagging. Includes 20 links and 2 end links. Fits a wrist up to 8 inch wrist.
Condition
The watch is in very good vintage condition and shows minor signs of wear, including small, barely visible scratches on the bezel, case, case back, and bracelet consistent with careful use. The scratches are not deep. The watch is unpolished. The crystal has minor flea bites at 5 o'clock. The dial and bezel insert are clean and the bracelet is structurally solid. The movement has been machine-tested for accuracy and water resistance, and performs within Rolex standards.
