Sellers usually arrive with one of four things, and each has its own page if you want detail before visiting.

• Gold — scrap, broken chains, class rings, dental, bullion and coins, 10K through 24K. Priced by weight and karat against the day's spot market.
• Luxury watches — Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Omega, Breitling, Tudor and others. Reference, condition and dial originality set the number.
• Diamonds and stones — loose diamonds, engagement rings, and sapphire, ruby and emerald pieces graded on site.
• Estate jewelry — inherited lots, mixed boxes, sterling flatware, signed pieces from Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.
